Well after many a sleep deprived night Sugar finally littered to 2 new babies 1 a lunky boar and the other a big shock she had a peruvian sow they are both doing well completley different colours to my last litter but same dad was not expecting a peruvian lol but they are gorgeous and doing well mum is doing a good job and poor Welly one of my peruvian girls is being bullied by yet another litter of babies lol she will have to stand up to these babies one day.
My other pigs have gone back out into there new snug homes as now hand made specially for them thermal insulated covers they loving the freedom will take a pic when i get chance olly doing fine and putting on wait all my boars doing well will finally be putting some wraps in my peruvian sweeps of my 2 shoe pigs welly and alfie.
My black lab bailey is back on piggy watch you have to get passed her before you get to see your own pigs lol
well my next project is to try and breed my lilac lunky boars so will see what that brings thanks for reading

Hi well this week Charlie has gone to her new home now understand why breeders dont name their pigs that are sold lol she has not gone far. may be gone but never forgotten has shown me how wonderful lunkys are.
I have also been busy on the peruvian front and have a new member to the boar household Alfie he is a little sweetheart his father has done well in showing last year for his owner so im hoping alfie will take after him. hoping to show him in jan 09 in harrogate.
Well on the baby front Sugar has still not had her babies think she wants to hold on to them every time i talk to her and say when are you having them she just whistles at me and stuffs another load of hay in her mouth pregnancy definatley has not put her off her food
Knut and cody my lilac lunkys have settled in well knut has decided to start sitting on his house instead of in it but each to their own. definatley king of his little castle
all the girls are doing well and shining through sissy and ada are ruling the roost but will see how long it lasts they just lay all over like lady mucks
my peruvian boys are in togeather at the moment luckily i have no nibblers but have boxes ordered to house seperatley and have been reading up on hair wrapping to strat with welly and archie so should be interesting watch this space for hair designs and tips lol vidal sasson eat your heart out (not!!)
had a bit of an accident today whilst putting my new covers on the outdoor cages managed to fall off bench and get wedged on the ground with bench on me in the rain things i do lol and only time i didnt have my mobile attatched to my ear i needed it have a lovley bruise design to my back so i hope they all appreciate the new covers and as for having labradors that are supposed to be intelligent they didnt come to my rescue hey just sat and cried then scooby ran off to see the window cleaner so feeling the love there

Well finally the weather has turned bad and while i wait for my new cage covers to be made i have brought all my pigs inside as did not want them learning doggy paddle.
this week it has also come to my attention that my firs attempt at sexing my first lunky litter was not up to scratch as turns out olly is a girl not a boy as first thought found this out by paying more attention to information and looking more closely, that and when i put olly in boys cage i never heard so much cooing and rumbling so poor olly got a bath and blow dry as thought was because had been living with the girls so tried again and again knut and cody was very loving so decided to sit with olly in front of the laptop again and look at diagrams and have come to the (final) conclusion olly is a girl never mind theres hope for me yet.
All the new pigs have settled in well sugar my pregnant lunky is doing well and everytime i go to feed them all she is up at the side of the cage cooing at me and making sure she does not miss out on her fair share of fruit and veg she adores hay and throws herself in it everyday when i put fresh in. she is sharing with welly at the moment so that she can play midwife but hopefully not needed she did a great job with mercys babies.
Sugars bump has just started moving its the strangest feelng but an expierience to feel the babies, (hopefully afte my first attempt i can get the sexing right) (one can hope)
